I lost my way in showjumping when I started measuring my success against elite athletes instead of my own growth. This destroyed both my athletic performance and my wellbeing. I became consumed by external expectations and pressure that weren't even mine to carry.

So I did something I never thought possible - I quit and began cultivating a dream that was truly my own.

It was a winding journey filled with confusion, hundreds of thousands of dollars in coaching, and often lonely stretches. But it all led me here: to my re-engineered mission with my horses and the creation of Culture Shift.
